The winds are changing...
I’ve been in a rut lately but I think I figured out what it is… I haven’t been doing anything I’m passionate about. I’ve been on for so long (graduation, moving, my parents wedding, Elliot’s USCG stuff, getting our own place, school, the works) that I haven’t relaxed. I am really going to work on that.

For those who care...
Our new place is amazing. It SO quiet though. I’m used to a lot of noise and now it’s just us and the cats. Elliot went to watch football with his dad and do laundry while I tried to sleep off this illness. When I failed miserably, I drowned myself in loneliness by watching the show Bones…hahah.
Anyways, we picked out paint colors…

He "killed it".
According to Elliot’s recruiter, he killed his CSPI interview. (: Not that I doubted it for a second. I think he just needed to hear it from someone who wasn’t me.
But apparently he won’t find out if he’s actually in until March- May. What?! I’m sorry…but I’d like more than a month’s notice for him leaving for bootcamp (June). Ughhhh. Now, we wait.
Sleep trumps thirst...every time.

So, Elliot’s recruiter called. His packet is due TODAY at 3:00 instead of Friday. Needless to say, we are on our way there! (Forget class!) His interview is next Tuesday and then he’ll (most likely) be in the Coast Guard. … Well, I’m flying by the seat of my pants at the moment :/ jeez!! Way to give us notice lol

Wake up call...
I woke up yesterday morning to sweet kisses from my boyfriend. It was right at that moment that it hit me. I really don’t know if I’m ready for him to go to bootcamp. He will be gone this whole summer and every break after that.
This semester is the last semester we will share a schedule and a school. He will change this summer, most likely permanently (and I know for the better, but...
